Our classes are one hour long and full supervised by friendly, experienced coaches with a focus on movement standards and technique. Sessions begin with a briefing where the coach explains the workout and answers any questions. Followed by a warm up consisting of movements programmed to mobilise you and get your ready for your workout. Generally around 15 minutes. Most sessions include a strength component of around 20 minutes. These incorporate major lifts like deadlifts, squats and Olympic lifts (all of which we teach you!). Often these sessions also include skills where you practice new movements. And lastly we finish off with our workout of the day (a WOD!). These can include movements to get you puffing, movements to test and build your muscle and cardio endurance and gymnastic skills (or a combination of them all!) Every single workout can be modified and scaled to suit your fitness, strength and mobility level - in fact most of our members will modify or scale their workouts. |
