I thought I would do a bit of a blog about my own training leading up the Open Games 2016. I have competed in the Opens since 2009, and this year I finally move into the 50-54 year age group! This blog is mainly to give some info on my programming. I see a lot of crossfitters having trouble trying to fit everything in over the course of a week. Otherwise you'll get very frustrated and likely injured. I have dealt with elite swimmers for a long time and this is the most common mistake: their goals require a commitment they aren't prepared to give. My program: The main points (I think) are:
That's it for my first blog! I'm now heading into the shed to give it a good clean!
