If you don't have any CrossFit experience, then you will need to undergo our Introductory OnRamp process. Details are as follows:
Introductory Session - FREE
We offer a free one hour introductory session which includes a health assessment, familiarisation of the facilities and equipment, instruction of some foundational movements and a light WOD (this stands for Workout of the Day). What you will need to know and bring:
Arrive about 5-10 mins early. We have a seating area so you can relax a little and start filling in our Health Screening Form
Make sure to bring a bottle of water and a towel
Bookings are essential (we require 24 hours cancellation notice for these appointments).
Have something light to eat about 30-60mins prior to starting the session. E.g. a piece of fruit, some yoghurt, a coffee...
There is no obligation to go any further than this session. If you feel you are not ready to commit to the next part of the Onramp, then we will still be friends. If you do feel that you would like to continue then the next stage is...
These will be small groups of up to four people who are all at the same stage of their Onramp as you. The sessions go for an hour and cover our foundational movements as well as our more common warm up activities. During these sessions, we assess you for any limitations you may have such as mobility or body awareness issues. We ensure that if you are unable to do a movement then you have appropriate scaling options plus we may give you some accessory exercises to develop your weaknesses. By the end of these sessions, most clients feel confident to step into our Kanga sessions. Don't expect to know all the moves, or be proficient in them, this can take years and is half the fun of CrossFit - you're always learning new things! If you still don't feel confident, then we can arrange extra Onramp sessions for you.
The cost of the On-Ramp is $180, however we do offer a reduced price for groups of two to a maximum of four. The more in your group, the more your reduction!
Our Kanga sessions go for one hour, and once you come out of the Onramp then you may attend any of our scheduled classes. You don't need to make a booking. Please see our timetable on the Home Page We suggest attending three sessions per week to start off. Once you feel you are recovering between sessions, then the more sessions you attend the quicker the improvements will be.
What you need to bring/know:
There are no contracts.
If you wish to cancel or put your membership on hold, we only ask that you give us 7 days written notice and then your membership expires on the date of your next payment.
Payments can be made fortnightly or monthly.
Three sessions per week : $85 per fortnight
Unlimited sessions per week: $95 per fortnight or $205 per month
If you feel you can't make three sessions per week as a minimum, then we have many other memberships to choose from. These include:
10 ($150) and 20 ($260) pass session memberships. These have a 12 month expiry date and are great if you can only drop in every now and again
Drop in rates - for casual visits
Custom memberships - For example, if you work away for regular periods or have heavy work/study commitments at various times, we can make a membership program to suit your needs.
We also offer discounts for two or more family members, students, service men and women and those who work in the forces. Just talk to Dion when you enquire about memberships.
Any payments (including OnRamp and Kanga sessions) are made using our Wodify online payment system.
